Brain Tumor Awareness Ribbon©

Judy Grim - Brain Tumor Survivor

Judy joined the Board of Directors in November of 2008.

Judy had a 22 year career with C & P Telephone Co./Bell Atlantic. She was a supervisor in the Construction Department in the 90's. However, she chose to leave the company when her department was moved to Annapolis, MD. Judy is a one year Brain Tumor Survivor. She had surgery on September 6, 2007.

Sandra Wyatt contacted her on behalf of the newly formed HOPE With Support when she was diagnosed. They met for brunch on June 12th. Judy says that the support and understanding she received from Sandra and the HOPE With Support organization helped make a horrendous time easier to overcome.

In thanks for that support, Judy wants to do her part to raise awareness of brain tumors and help provide support for others diagnosed with brain tumors.

Stephen "Greg" Loew - IBM

Quote: "I have seen how important it is to have support when you are diagnosed with brain tumors. For Sandra, it has been difficult, though, because the support was so long in coming. Sandra is committed to making sure others' paths are not so long and difficult. I am inspired by her faith, and her desire to make a difference for other survivors. Being a part of Hope With Support and supporting Sandra in this cause is truly my pleasure.”
